The magnificent location for the price, very close to northern Queensland as well as the "zoo" which has all kinds of Australian wildlife cassowaries, kangaroos, wallabies, dingos, crocidiles, and lots of native birds. Well-kept unit with a coffeemaker, fridges, and glassware.

The hotel offered great value, and I truly enjoyed my stay, especially the lovely garden view. Its remote location was perfect, as it was close to the beautiful Daintree rainforest and abundant native birds. I also had the chance to enjoy quick meals at Big Tuna Fish Co, just a short 500 meters away from the venue.

The owners were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to personalise our experience, very helpful and knowledgeable about local information. Particularly impressed with attention to dietary needs (gluten free) they even bought some lollies he could eat and served them up for his dessert!
Room echoed a lot, otherwise all good

We stayed at this zoo-themed hotel. The animals were interesting to watch and feed. The pool was refreshing. The continental breakfast included fresh juice and coffee. The zoo's location was conveniently close to other attractions and activities in the area.
The rooms were old and uncomfortable with shared facilities. The sounds of the animals at night kept us up, and there was no sound insulation.
